Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2021-10-20

Location: Espíritu Santo

Weather: Sunny Skies and Moderate N Wind (9-14kts)

Today we are diving Espiritu Santo. Right now we are at the south end and the guests are just finishing up a dive at Suwanee. The first two dives were at Los Islotes, and the dives were excellent.

We are just finishing the second dive at Suwannee, 4th dive of the day. Suwanee was excellent so we stayed for 2. Great visibility, healthy reef full of fish. The wind has died out this evening and it’s calm, sun will be setting in about 20 minutes.

We had planned to do a night dive last night at Los Frailes, but the visibility was so bad that we ended up canceling it. So, we are offering another night dive tonight, which we’ll do at San Rafaelito. Only one or two people want to do it but it’s on the table anyway.

Tomorrow we’ll dive again at Espiritu Santo, details to be determined but maybe Islotes again in the morning and Fang Ming in the afternoon.

Water temperature: 80°F

Visibility: 100ft
