Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2021-10-29

Location: Guadalupe Island

Weather: Clear Skies, Light Wind, and Calm Seas

We have two sharks making frequent close passes by the cages. The guests loved every minute of the show, and by about 1630 everybody was finished in the cages and wanted instead to watch the show from the dive deck and swim step. Lots of loud cheers as sharks made partial breaches after the bait.

This morning we woke up to another perfect morning. No winds or seas to speak of, and visibility had increased dramatically. From the very beginning of ops today we had multiple sharks in the area, passing at the bait and making very close passes by the cages. My count so far is nine individuals, and the day is only half done! We are going to finish this short trip on a very high note.

Visibility: 100ft+

Water temperature: 65°F
