Even after being in Socorro as a divemaster for many years, I still get so excited every time I dive here. What I love about it is that is unpredictable every time, conditions are always different, encounters are unique every time; you got to adjust your dive plan at the moment, read the situation, use your best judgment of where big life might be. And then the realization has the biggest of the rewards, the happiness of the people that had their expectations exceeded, their dreams become true when in only one dive they tip-off five of their top ten bucket list animals to see.
Socorro is a special place, one of the few on the planet, where wildness prevails, and humans are just temporary visitors. An underwater safari.
