Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-02-01

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Clouded Skies, NW Wind (1-3kts), NNW Swell (1-3ft)

We arrived yesterday at Fondeadero at 2100 hrs, Today we started the day diving at 0700 for our warm-up dive, no issues, all dives did a good job, we could not see too much on it, reef fish and two Galapagos, dive conditions vis: 40 ft and no current.

For the next dive we moved to the Boiler, this last dive was very good, we had two mantas playing around us for almost all dive, a lot of bonitas fish and we could see a blacktip shark, not much current, and the sea is only 1-3 ft, the visibility is 80 ft. Our divers are very happy, we are going to finish the diving day here and as soon as we finish we are going to pick up the anchor to spent our Taco night anchor in the Canyon.
