Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-03-16

Location: Fondeadero

Weather: Clouded Skies, NW Light Breeze, W Big Swell

Yesterday we dive on the Fondeadero, very light current to the NW, nice dives yesterday on group stay with a black manta around 25 minutes, some sharks on the dive site, Galapagos, Silvertips, white tips and a few spread hammerheads, one big tiger shark on the distance.

Today we are diving at The Canyon, beautiful first dive. Today we saw around four mantas, three chevrons one black manta, lots of sharks on the cleaning station, Silvertips, Galapagos, whitetips, silkies, hammerheads, and one black tip, one group could see a pod of eight bottlenose dolphins.

Second dive today, light current to the W, one chevron manta and one black manta on this dive, lots of sharks on the cleaning station, Silvertips, Galapagos, white tips, silkies, and hammerheads. We have two more dives to do and then tomorrow we will be diving at the boiler.

Visibility: 50-100ft
