Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-03-19

Location: Roca Partida

Weather: Clear Skies with Cirrus, N Wind (12-14kts), Swell (4-6ft)

A sunny day with some cirrus. Yesterday we did Roca Partida current never stopped, it was strong from the NW, diving was good, good shark action with Silvertips, Galapagos and silky, whitetips hunting. and some mantas. Yellowfin tunas and a few spread hammerheads.

Today’s first dive was in Roca Oneil, a nice but quiet dive, reef fish, and lobsters, guests enjoyed the topography. Second dive we moved to punta Tosca, not much action but still good, some spread hammerheads, one black manta and one chevron manta on the last minutes, whitetips, reef fish. We have one more dive to do here and then move to the navy base to do the check-in, after that we´ll move to Cabo Pearce to do the silky snorkel tonight.
