Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-03-20

Weather: Partly Cloudy Skies, N Wind (8-12kts), Calm Seas

Yesterday we did our last dive in Punta Tosca, it was good, with one black manta and one chevron playing with the divers for around 25 minutes, a few hammerheads, and some Galapagos and whitetips. After dinner we did the famous silky snorkel, everything was good.

Today our first dive was at 0730, visibility was around 40ft, medium current to the N, five different mantas were there, Galapagos sharks and some spread hammerheads.

Second dive today, light current to the S, beautiful dive with the mantas, mantas for everybody, Galapagos and whitetips also on the cleaning station, two divers got surrounded for hundreds of hammerheads, they said were more than 200 hundred easily.
