Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-03-21

Weather: Clear Skies, N Wind (18-22kts), NW Swell (1ft)

Yesterday we finish dives in Cabo Pearce, nice 3rd dive, lots of hammerheads, Galapagos, Silvertips, and whitetips. Also good manta action, the last dive was much quieter, no mantas, and just a few sharks were present.

We moved last night to San Benedicto to do the canyon, a sunny day with some cumulus and cirrus. First dive today with no current, lots of sharks on the cleaning station, whitetips, Silvertips, Galapagos, and hammerheads, no mantas on this dive.

Second dive today, no current, nice dive with some Galapagos, and Silvertips, a few spread hammerheads, and one chevron manta that was with us for around 20 min.

Visibility: 80ft
