Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2022-04-01

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Overcast Skies, N Light Wind, NW Swell (4-6ft)

We’ve done two dives, which have been good. A couple of mantas around, not consistently but enough to be sharing a bit of manta love around to all. One group of divers had seven hammerheads as well. Some dolphins from the surface this morning but they didn’t come to play underwater.

Yesterday we finished the day with two good dives at the Canyon, still nice and sharky, and a couple of mantas around down there as well. At the end of the day, we had taco night on the top deck and spent the night anchored at the south end of San Benedicto, moving up to the Boiler this morning.

Tonight we will head for Roca Partida and spend tomorrow there before moving on to Socorro.

Water temperature: 75°F

Visibility: 50ft
