Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-04-03

Location: The Canyon

Weather: Clouded Skies, NW Wind (10kts), Calm Seas

After the check dive at the Leather Bass Alley, we drove over to the Boiler made a dive but the weather conditions are not helping so we came back, the wind is just fine and the action of the waves is not that bad but they go different ways making the dive platform difficult for guests and just to keep them safe we came back, we are gonna do two more dives around here and finish the day. The dive at the boiler was okay but not great, all mantas were close to the rocks (next to the island) in front of The Boiler feeding on the surface, same in this side of the island at the canyon where we saw no less than a dozen mantas feeding on the surface so hopefully, some of them come to the dive site

Water temperature: 75°F

Visibility: 75ft
