Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-04-13

Location: Cabo Pearce

Weather: Clouded Skies, NW Wind (12-16kts), NNW Swell (5-7ft)

Yesterday we finished our diving day at Punta Tosca we could dive with a couple of sharks and just for a couple of minutes with a Manta, the dive was pretty slow so as soon as we finished we picked up the anchor and started our way to Cabo Pearce. After that, we took our dinner and we did our silky snorkel which was pretty safe at the end some flying fish came into the area so we decided to cancel the activity just 2 minutes before finishing the activity.

Today our first dive was very good just the current was very strong but we did a safe job always taking care of the guests, we could dive with three mantas, three hammerheads, and silvertips sharks. For the 2nd dive, the current decreased considerably and we could dive with around six different mantas, some hammerheads sharks, and whitetips sharks. When we picked up the divers to the skiff two dolphins arrive at the area, the weather conditions outside of the finger are strong with more than 17 knots of winds and the waves are around 5 ft with a short period of swell.
