Margo liked The Boiler for the diversity of fauna including mantas and hammerheads up close, Marie liked the landscapes of the coast and underwater arches at Socorro Roca O’Neil and Punta Tosca, the contrasts between black lava flows and white sand.
Georges and Luc also loved The Boiler for its large mantas and hammerhead sharks. The layout of the boxes for the equipment and the table for the cameras were impeccable!
The dive guides Rey, Mirko, Manu, and Stein are cheerful, helpful, very well informed, and passionate about the ocean environment. Stein’s presentation on mantas was excellent.
The affection of the entire crew for one another is obvious, setting a good example for the disparate guests. We also love the wonderful drawings of the dive sites made by Mirko. He’s a wonderful drawer. Don’t change that.
The cook is a true chef, the menus were delicious, healthy, varied, and with out-of-the-ordinary flavors.
Special praise goes to Maria, we believe she deserves to be sainted because she is always smiling and always present at precisely the perfect moment offering pre-dive water, delicious homebaked cookies, tea, beer, whatever we could wish for.
Suggestions to make the experience even better, are a longer interval between meals and dives. Dive directly from the Undersea Hunter deck where possible. Many thanks.
