Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-05-03

Location: Punta Tosca

Weather: Overcast Skies, N Wind (8-12kts), Calm Seas

Yesterday we did our last dive in Roca, a nice and quiet dive, a few sharks were there, whitetips, some silvertips and Galapagos, lots of fish, school of yellowfin tuna.

Today we are in Punta Tosca, dive conditions were nice, no current, and our divers were happy, they saw a couple of bottlenose dolphins, three chevron mantas, and a few hammerheads in the distance, lots of reef fish. Second dive same conditions, no current, one group could see three mantas just passing close to the divers, one Galapagos shark, whitetips, one octopus on the rocks. We have one more dive to do and then move to the navy base to do the check-in.

Water temperature: 73°F
