Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie- 2022-05-04

Location: Roca Partida

Weather: Cloudy Skies, NW Wind (8-10kts), NW Swell (4-5ft)

Yesterday we did two more dives at The Boiler, both were calm but still good with some mantas and hammerheads, and one of the groups saw a tiger shark in their safety stop and took a great photo, weather conditions were still good. No current during the whole day, we finished the day with all the guests happy, after that, we just got underway to Roca Partida, we anchored at 6:45, weather was better early in the morning, cloudy, we have just had an amazing day in Roca Partida, the first dive was incredible with a whale shark that stayed the entire dive from the beginning up to the end, adding three mantas, tunas around the area, guests came out of the water with a big smile. Medium current from west to east, for the second dive whale shark, was not present but the dive was very good as well, with a lot of sharks whitetips, mantas, four hammerheads, the same medium current west to east, we plan to do 2 more dives and go to Socorro for tomorrow.
