Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-06-09

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Cloudy Skies, NW Wind (4-6kts), NNW Swell (1-3ft)

Today we started the day with our warm-up dive at the Fondeadero, all of the guests did not have issues with their buoyancy, about the marine life we could see silky and Galapagos around, lobsters and reef fish, and the current was coming from the E.

Once we finished with the 1st dive we picked up the anchor and we departed to the Boiler. The 2nd dive was awesome, is going to be hard to get a better one. Why? because 2 huge reasons, one giant black manta, and a huge whale shark were hanging around the rock, and they stayed there for a while. Most of our guests were coming out of the water singing ‘we saw a whale shark’ with a big smile in their faces.

Water temperature: 76°F

Visibility: 50-100ft
