Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea- 2022-06-16

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Clear Skies, NW Wind (8kts), NW Swell (4-6ft)

We are diving Boiler, the boat is pretty stable, the dive platform a little tricky, the crew helping and keeping things under control, the two-morning dives have been very good, loads of mantas. The first dive had a pod of a dozen dolphins, a couple of hammerhead sharks, white tip reef sharks, horse eyed jacks and a lot more, is just the group of students are into collecting data from mantas so they are happy with the dives and the information they are gathering about these giants of the sea.

I am keeping a close eye on the hurricane so far conditions here at san Benedicto are still good.

Water temperature: 78°F

Visibility: 80ft
