Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-06-23

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Clear Skies, N Wind (6-11kts), NW Swell (2-4ft)

Yesterday we made two more dives at the Canyon, the third dive was great with a giant manta, lots of reef fish, one Galapagos, some hammers, and some silver tips, besides there were some dolphins in the area but unfortunately not everyone saw them just one of the divers in his safety stop, the fourth dive was quite calm but still good with the same manta and some white tips. Medium current in both dives. After the last dive, we did raise the anchor and got underway to the Boiler because of the good weather conditions we had the taco night with a nice calm swell and wind.

Now we are anchored at the Boiler, with still good weather conditions, we just had two dives here in the Boiler, the first one was nice one group saw a pod of dolphins but the other with just one manta but the second one just improved a lot with five mantas around the divers and some silvertips. There was little current going south in both dives.

Water temperature: 74°F
