Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-07-02

Location: Roca Partida

Weather: Clear Skies, N Wind (8-10kts), S Swell (4-6ft)

Yesterday we did two more dives at Roca, great dives with lots of sharks especially on the last dive, lots of whitetips very active, silvertips, Galapagos, and a few hammerheads. On the last two dives, also on the last two dives yesterday some of the divers could see a pod of bottlenose dolphins, around six or seven dolphins were playing for more than 10 minutes with our divers.

Today we are still in Roca Partida.With medium current to the E, nice but quiet dive, lots of life, no big life but lots of fish, very active white tips on the first dive. Second dive with no current. More action on this dive, Galapagos, Silvertips, lots of whitetips, a few hammerheads, lots of jacks, yellowfin tunas, wahoos, and the skiff drivers could see a marlin jumping very close to the rock.
