Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-07-05

Location: Cabo Pearce

Weather: Clear Skies, N Wind (8-12kts), S Swell

Yesterday we did our last dives here in Cabo Pearce, great third dive, with no hammerheads on this one but a lot of mantas all the time, around four-five mantas were there playing with the divers, the last dive was very quiet, just a lot of silver pampanos and lot of reef fish.

Today, visibility around the first dive is one of the bests, hammerheads back to the site, two big schools were there one in the south part of the cleaning station and one more on the north side of the cleaning station, and all the dive our divers could see the hammerheads, also a lot of mantas on this one, around eight different mantas were there. Second dive light current to the S, another incredible dive, a lot of mantas and hammerheads, around four-five mantas were there all the time, also lots of hammerheads all over the place. We have two more dives to do here, let’s see what else we can see.

Water temperature: 75°F

Visibility: 65ft
