Cabo Pearce is a dive site found on the Eastern side of Socorro Island, which is part of the Revillagigedo Islands in Mexico. It is known for its abundance of marine life like various species of dolphins, sharks, and whales.
Divers who visit Cabo Pearce on a trip can expect a wide variety of marine life, including giant manta rays, humpback whales, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos, and silky sharks.
Nautilus Liveaboard guests share their wonderful and exciting diving trip at Cabo Pearce.
Dives full of life and interaction with the animals.
We finally got to the famous Socorro – OH MY GOD – We did four dives in Cabo Pearce today and our eyes can’t believe what we saw! Dives full of life and interaction with the animals. Dolphins biting fins and Mantas showing off in front of cameras. The dolphins didn’t miss a dive neither did we. Followed by two manta rays that stayed with us for around 30 minutes, and to end up the dive a hammerhead showed up. My buddies did see the school of it but I didn’t. Never mind the dive was insane! Our divemaster did a great job showing as around and finding everything we could see.

So many fish, so many reef fish, and soooo many sharks!
Wow!!!! These have definitely been some of the best dives I’ve ever done in my life. So thankful for Nautilus and Dive Ninja for everything that they have done to make everything happen. We had a face-to-face encounter with dolphins who came down to play with us, we saw a total of 6 mantas AT THE SAME TIME during our dive!! So many fish, so many reef fish, and soooo many sharks!
It is really nice that the Nautilus crew has hot drinks and chef-prepared food for us in between the dives. They make such good food, some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life!! They even had specialty homemade fruit drinks after our dives, which was nice. We’ve had breathing workshops in between dives with GTS, evening presentations, and we have books to learn about the fish that we’ve been diving with. The divemasters are so knowledgeable about the area, and they are so fun to dive with.
Today, we went down with Keoni, and he really is a good luck charm and so good at finding the mantas, sharks, reef creatures, and macro. I’ve always felt totally safe with all of the Divemasters, and very comfortable in the water. We even went for a super fun boat ride after our last dive and got to see some of the awesome landscape.
Jay with Dive Ninja has been fun to dive with and hang out with, and I’ve learned so much about underwater photography! I’ve made some strong and lasting friendships, and I am so thankful that I learned about this trip through GTS.
I have grown so much, and I don’t want to go home!! I want to stay, can’t I just stay here? Will definitely be coming back again, and I highly recommend for anyone who loves the ocean.

Cabo Pearce for the win!!
Cabo Pearce for the win!! Fish and Mantas, a DOLPHINS OH MY!! And just as we thought the fun was done and we were starting out safety stop, there came a school of hammerheads!! Just WOW!. When the mantas weren’t showing off for us, we were able to explore the reef for hidden octopuses and interesting fish. The lobsters and giant green morays were the chillest I’ve ever seen. The powers that be smiled upon us with great weather, abundant marine life. Nautilus gave us a great staff and divemasters. Another great day in the books on the Under Sea Hunter.
