Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-03-15

Anchor at San Roca Partida, Winds: N 3-6 kts, Seas: NW 2-4ft long swell just at the beginning of the day was around 5 to 6 ft long period .Yesterday we finished our day in San Benedicto, the last dive was really good, we dove with silver tips, hammerheads around 6 of them , one huge Galagos , a Chevron manta very close from the station, and a turtle which was enjoying its food on the top of the clean station, Today our 1st dive was very relaxing dive, with some silver tips, white tips sharks around, school of jacks and some cotton mouth fish as well a huge tuna around, and the soundtrack of every dive is the whales song for entire dive,we have been watching the whales from the surface but unfortunately they are not close enough but we hope we can dive with them, the 2nd dive we encountered with silver tips and white tips sharks at north, for us this dive was much better at the north part of the Rock where the current hit, at the end we encountered with a Manta for a couple of minutes, dive conditions are very good, we have the current coming from N to S not so strong,
