Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-03-17

Today the Explorer is at Punta Tosca alongside the Undersea Hunter. Wind today is from the north 10 to 15 kts with a little more around the corner, a little choppy at the divesite 3 to 4ft. Sky is clear. Air temp 25C. We had a very comfortable transit last night from Roca Partida and arrived here this morning at 0630. The first two dives were great.
The first dive was the dive of a lifetime for about half the group, with a humpback whale hanging out for almost the entire dive! Circling back around to look at the divers multiple times. If a humpback hanging around wasn’t enough, there were also multiple giant mantas cruising the divesite which everyone got to enjoy. They are wrapping up dive 3 as we speak. Visibility around 60-80ft and water temp 24C.
