Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-03-19

Today the NEX is at San Benedicto, diving the Canyon along with the Southern Sport and the Solmar V. Beautiful day today. Light wind from the north, 1′ swell in the anchorage, clear sky. Air temp 26C. Yesterday we had a great day at Cabo Pearce with lots of manta lovin We are third in line to dive the Canyon today so we did our first at 0900 and second at noon, getting ready for number 3 right now. Diving has been very good here at the canyon. Some hammerheads around, a couple mantas cruising by, some dolphins briefly for some divers as well. Lots of jacks around as well. Great conditions with mild-moderate current, water temp 23-24C and viz around 20m today.
We’ll be getting underway tonight for Cabo with turn day on the 21st.
