Anchored Isla Socorro at Punta Tosca
Winds NW @15-20knts, seas 2-3′, skies 80% overcast, in water vis 60-70′, slight current to west, temp 75F
We were able to make just one dive yesterday afternoon. We found a flat sandy bottom at 50 feet that had some rocks and rubble nearby. Visibility was decent, around 50′ a few people got glimpses of a Galapagos shark and everybody came up happy.
Divers just got back from the second dive. Both dives here have been pretty good. Current isn’t too strong and visibiliyt is fair. And one group (all the kids on the charter) has had mantas on both dives. They are loving it. The adults are wondering why the mantas are leaving them out… But there is plenty more diving on this trip so I’m sure they will get some love too.
