Captain’s Noon Reports – Undersea – 2023-04-06

18.49.831N – 11.03.395W, anchor in 115Ft.

The first dives were pretty good, visibility was over 100Ft and the temperature was 75F. The divers made it through the two archways and as they were coming out of the second one a huge school of hammerhead sharks went by. Some of the guests got very excited and off they went after the sharks. They also encountered three mantas – two chevrons and one black manta. The reef has a lot to offer but most of the guests are aiming for the pelagics. The second dive had an upwelling with green and cold water, but still, the action was present and guests were happy about Roca Oneal. The next two dives will be in Punta Tosca.
