Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-04-13

Good afternoon, everyone.

NEX is anchored at Punta Tosca, wind from NW 10-15 knots, seas are calm in the bay, and the sky is partially clouded, Water temperature is 24 Celsius and viz 15 meters.

Our last dive yesterday in Roca was awesome, a huge school of tuna fish was seen by our guests, and from the surface it looked like a river since they were a lot of them.

We have done 2 dives and have one more to do here. Then we will go to Cabo Pearce and dive there tomorrow. Dives here today have been ok, with a few scattered hammerheads. One of the groups saw a tiger shark while the others saw a manta. Punta Tosca is a very big dive site therefore action can improve at any time.
