Captain’s Noon Reports – Undersea – 2023-04-23

NUS Anchored at 18 46.3N-110 54.4W, at 90ft depth, at Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island, with 8kt wind from the N and 2ft NE waves at the anchorage. Air temperature 74F, Clear sky.

This morning we had two very good dives at Cabo Pearce. 60ft visibility and 75F water temperature, light Current in the first dive. No current in dive 2. We saw a minimum of 8 Mantas, 2 Black and 6 Chevron, Hammerhead School, 1 Big Tiger Shark, a few Galapagos, and many Yellowfin Tunas. Guests are happy with the dives and waiting for the afternoon dives.
