Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-04-29

Hi everyone,

NEX anchored at Roca Partida. Arrived here this morning and it was very windy but as the day went by the wind decreased. At this moment we have NW wind of 10 knots and same direction seas up to 5 ft, water temperature is 24 Celsius and visibility 20 meters, and no current.

We only have done only 2 dives now, but the rock is on fire. Loads of White Tips, Jacks of all kinds, massive Yellowfin Tunas, thousands of Skipjacks, and an aggregation of Silkies at least 50 sharks. Our guests are blown away. All are more than keen to hit the water again and get a mind-boggling experience. The Rock really looks like a giant aquarium today.

We have 2 more dives here and after dinner, we will head to San Benedicto and dive the Boiler tomorrow.
