Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-05-09

We are currently just south of Punta Coyote approaching the San Lorenzo channel. The wind is light from the north, 1′ seas. The sky is partly cloudy but clearing. Air temp 27-29C.

This morning we spent a few hours at Punta Arenas and had lots of good mobula snorkeling. Seems to be where all the mobulas are. At 10 we had everyone back onboard and have been running north since then, heading for the San Lorenzo channel and planning to search the Bay of la Paz this afternoon. Tonight, we’ll finish up by San Francisco and search up there tomorrow, around San Jose Channel.
