NUS Anchored at 19 17.4N-110 48.4W. In Anchorage at San Benedicto Island. This morning there was a nice cold breeze and now it has changed a little to warmer wind from the NW of 5/8 knots and waves that wrap around the tip of the island. 3ft seas. The sky is partly cloudy with an air temp 76F.
Two dives were made this morning, with visibility of 60ft, temp 74F, and moderate current to the west on both dives. On the first warm-up dive in the anchorage, there was a black manta throughout the dive interacting with divers and some Galapagos sharks, and Silvertips. On the second dive in the Canyon, we saw a chevron manta and very good action in the cleaning station with more than a dozen Galapagos sharks. silvertips, 1 blacktip, and some hammerheads.
We have two more dives in the afternoon and for tomorrow we are waiting to change our itinerary because apparently, all the boats want to go to Roca Partida tomorrow.
