Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-05-22

Hi everyone,

NEX anchored at Socorro Island, diving Cabo Pearce, conditions are ok, NW wind 10-15 knots, 2 ft wrapping swell inside the finger, and 3-5 ft seas outside the finger.

Arrived here last night and the guests and crew had a good and quiet sleep. This morning we started diving at 0800 and so far we have done 2 dives. Great dives since lots of mantas, sharks, and even dolphins have been with our divers in both dives. The water temp is 24 Celsius and visibility is around 15 meters. We are going to do 2 more dives here and after the last dive, we will move to Punta Tosca.
