Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-06-03

Good afternoon, all!! NEX at anchor diving the Pacific lava plug AKA Roca Partida, it is a very workable day here, despite the 6-7 ft high swell and 15 knots wind. It is not a challenge for our divers to get on and off the skiff because of the long period between the seas.

We have done 2 amazing dives, and all our guests are super happy, with many sharks, and lots of species. I even saw from the skiff a silky aggregation of about 20 sharks and giant schools of tuna fish. It looks like a river of fish, tons of jacks, and wahoos. In short, the rock is rocking today. We have another 2 dives and after dive number 4 we will start to make our way back to Cabo.
