NGL is passing by la Reinita. This morning we started the day looking for mobulas in the bay of la Ventana. We did not encounter much of jumping mobulas, and guests only went in the water once with a small group of 8 -10 mobulas that disappeared pretty fast. For some of them, it was the first glance at mobulas underwater and they were very happy.

We then searched all morning along Punta arenas and towards the south but did not find any schools though we found a pod of common dolphins very playful with the rhib. When the guests jumped to swim with them, they found themselves surrounded by jellyfish and aborted the snorkel. They enjoyed the show of the dolphins from the rhib. Yesterday afternoon we did a snorkel at La Reinita, then headed north towards La Reyna. The guests didn’t want to snorkel at La Reyna so they came back onboard the NGL at 1730. At 1800 we found a big pod of spotted dolphins that were hunting for fish with frigate birds. We spent 1hr with them so some of the guests could take pictures from the NGL of the leaping and jumping dolphins. we had taco night on the middle deck and anchored at La Ventana Bay.
