Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-06-30

NBA at La Reina and south Espiritu Santo today. Wind currently from the east light with 1′ seas from the east. The sky is mostly clear. The air temp today was around 32C. Water temp 26-28C.

This morning we did 2 dives at La Reina, both excellent dives. Strong current but lots of fish life and nice viz, including a manta, a couple of big mobulas, turtles, big schools of fish, and sea lions. Everyone enjoyed it very much. After dive 2 we headed to Salvatierra and met up with the Cozumel from Baja Expeditions and they did one dive on the wreck and one dive at Suwannee Reef.

Great conditions and 2 great dives, loads of fish and turtles, all guests were super happy with the dives this afternoon. As soon as all were back onboard, we got underway for San Benedicto, with the 2nd storm looking like it was going to lay down and not affect Socorro. ETA for San Benedicto is 0800 on Sunday morning, so we’ll get 3 full days of diving in at the islands.
