Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-07-03

Belle at Roca Partida today. The wind is light from the WNW with a way swell of around 3-5′ at 12 seconds. A beautiful day, partly cloudy and warm. Air temp 31C, water temp 26-27C, viz a beautiful 100ft of blue.

The diving here today has been really good. Loads of sharks around, all out circling the rock, mixed with big yellow-fin tunas and schools of creole fish and jacks. A lot of silkies, Galapagos, and silver-tips plus the white tips are out and very active, seems like in the mood for mating. Even around the inflatable waiting for the divers, we have 5 or 6 silkies circling us. All the guests and DMs as well are enjoying all the shark and tuna action happening around the rock. We’ll do two more this afternoon and so far, my plan is to head back to San Ben and dive the Canyon for our last day tomorrow.
