Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-07-03

18.59.259N – 112.04.533W, anchor resting in 245 Ft of water.
Today we are diving Roca Partida. Cloudy skies with a light breeze, long period swell NW. The air temperature is 82F. Water today is 78F, we had a strong current in both the two morning dives. At first current was running to the south but then it shifted and now is going southwest.
Visibility is 80 plus; guests have seen lots of fish and sharks in the north corner. The silver tips, Galapagos, and white-tip reef sharks were circling and kept chasing after the little fish, a huge school of bonitos then the yellowfin tunas. The Rock is alive, lots going on in Roca Partida.
