Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-07-18

Anchor at Punta Herradura, Bahía de los Angeles, Winds: N  0-2 knots, no gust, Seas: NW calm.

Yesterday we found a pod of common dolphins while we were sailing to Bahia de los Angeles, we found them  5 miles to the E of Isla San Marcos. After an hour with them, we picked up the skiff and we continued sailing to Bahia. We arrived in Bahia at 0820 of today, the local Pangas arrived on time, by 0910 we got all guests in the adventure, and at 0928 we got the 1st whale shark!

Our guests enjoyed this 1st session, we encountered around 5 of them and some dolphins. By midday, all pangas came back and our guests enjoyed lunch. We are preparing everything for the next Session, our guests are very excited for the next session. The plan is to spend the Taco night here at anchor and then depart to San Pedro Martir.
