Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-07-26

Anchor at San Pedro Martir Island  28°23.262’N 112°19.088 W, Winds: SE 10-13 knots, gusting around 16 knots, Seas: 3-5 ft SE.

Yesterday our day was really good with the whale sharks in Bahia, all of our guests really enjoyed the day. Then we finished the day with a very nice dive out of Bahia de Los Angeles, and after that, we enjoyed the night with delicious Tacos. Our southbound was smooth until 3 am because a torito was close to our area. The wind increased to 20/23 knots and the swell to 5-6 ft, eventually the conditions were decreasing but we still have some winds around 15 knots, the swell as well decreased but from 3 to 6 am was rough.

The diving has been really good, we were at anchor on the E side of the island, and we have been diving with sea lions since the 1st dive. On the 2nd dive, we had some good action with the sea lions. Now our guests are getting ready for another good dive in San Pedro Martir island but at the North. After the 4th dive, we are going to start our way to Coronado Island.
