Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-08-04

NGL is at Isla Las Animas, clear sky, wind SE 5-6, seas SE 1′, air temp 36, water temp 29C, visibility 15 meters NGL is at las Animas. We finished the third dive of the day here and we will head towards San Francisco for the night dive. On the way, we will look for animals, and hopefully find a pod of dolphins or anything bigger. The dives at las Animas were very good, with lots of curious sealions, jackfish, green jacks, turtles, and great water conditions. No hammerheads though on any of the dives.

Yesterday afternoon we did dive number 3 at La Reynita, the visibility was not as good in the channel (less than 10 meters) but there were a lot of life, moray eels, octopuses, and turtles. After that last dive, some of the guests enjoyed a stand-up paddle and kayak tour and went on the beach in front of La Reynita. Then we had taco night under the stars and went underway to Las Animas at 2300.
