Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2023-08-12

NGL is at Corralito, Esp Santo Island, with a clear sky, Cumulonimbus in the distance over the land masses, air temp 38C, water temp 29C, and visibility 10-15mts.

Guests are doing dive 3 at the moment on the shipwreck C59. This morning we started with a dive safety briefing, equipment setup, breakfast, and dive briefing for dive 1 at 0930 on the reef of Coralito.

All the guests are comfortable in the water, just a couple need to adjust their buoyancy for the safety stop. Nice easy dive, with no current, lots of reef fish, and visibility of 10-15mts due to wind stirring up the water.

Dive 2 at 1230 on the shipwreck Fang Ming, amazing dive as per guests’ reports, with loads of turtles, eels, groupers, and a playful sea lion on the wrecks, plus lots of macros to see (nudis, longnose hawk fish, shrimps..) Yesterday evening guests embarked at 1900, and we left the API dock at 2010 after a safety video, dinner, and lifejacket drill.
