Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-08-14

Good afternoon, everyone, NBA is anchored in Las Animas, with a light wind from the south and calm seas in the little bay, the sun shining, and a few white patches on the horizon.

We finished our last dive yesterday in San Francisquito. It was a very nice dive, we saw a sea horse, lots of sea lions, and reef fish. After the dive, we returned to the bay and had a walk on the beach and our taco night.

We left San Francisquito around 0400 and on the way here we encountered a big pod of dolphins. Today we have done 2 dives, number 3 is just starting. During the dive, one diver saw around 15 hammerheads, lots of fish, some Morey eels, and sea lions. In dive number 2 Guadalupe fur seals showed up, also sea lions at the end of the dive, a pod of dolphins was there and guests had the chance to swim with them.

The water temperature is 32 Celsius and viz 30 meters. We will have dinner at anchor and after that, we will start to make our way to Isla Danzante.
