Captain’s Noon Reports – Westerly – 2023-08-16

Westerly sailing at 24°33.4N-112°09.3W, through the Bahia Magdalena area with very good weather, a pleasant 5-knot breeze and a 4-ft long period swell both from the west, clear sky clear.

On our journey along the coast from the Baja peninsula, we encountered bottlenose dolphins, sea lions watching us go by, and mahi mahi jumping everywhere. Guests are preparing to start their activities as soon as we arrive at our first destination. They are a research group and will be working on kelp starting from Bahia Asuncion to Ensenada.
