Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-08-22

Good afternoon. Anchor at Las Animas. We arrived this morning, Wind is 12-15 NW, Long Swell was 2-3 NW.

We have done 3 Dives. The first dive in the morning was very beautiful and with a lot of action. There was a school of hammerheads outside the bay, and many sea lions getting in and out of the bay to interact with guests. They were very playful, and all the guests interacted with them. The second dive was very good too with many coral fishes and one group of divers saw an octopus, and sea lion as well. The third dive was starting to increase the wind, but all the divers enjoy the third dive.

Vis 20-25 m, Water Temp 29 C, current from the NW. We are getting ready for the last night dive of the day.
