Captain’s Noon Reports – Westerly – 2023-08-26

Westerly anchored at 29°47.2N-115°47.3W, Isla San Geronimo, El Rosario area. 20 knot NW wind and 2 ft waves in shelter, sky completely covered in fog. It is a cold day.

Scientists continued with their investigation of the kelp and collecting all the information possible. They found live kelp in the western part of the Island. For tomorrow we will stay for one more day in the Rosario area and then start sailing north to visit other places where they may find more live kelp.
