Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-09-13

Belle Amie is at San Pedro Martir today. Beautiful day, light breeze, 1′ seas, sunny and hot. Air temp around 35C and humid.

We had a nice overnight transit from Coronados and started the day with 2 great dives around ‘El Arroyo’. The sealion youngsters just can’t get enough of the divers, and the divers are loving the interaction. Green turtles, polarized schools of sardines, black coral, schools of reef fish and a beautiful coral covered wall are all features of this part of San Pedro Martir and the guests can’t get enough.

Between dives they are jumping in to snorkel with the roving packs of curious sealions. Doing a dive now at El Corralito and for dive 4 we’ll move over to the west side of the island. Viz is really nice here today, 20m plus and water temp 29C. Rocio came around today as well as is the Guardeparque, with someone from Profepa onboard. They had a look at our paperwork and all good, no issues.

Tonight we’ll overnight to Bahia de LA for a whaleshark day tomorrow then safari transit day on Friday.
