Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-09-24

Anchor in Wafer Bay, 5.32.701N – 87.03.937W, is been raining on and off in the morning time.

We did Dirty rock and Dos Amigos Small, both dives with loads of sharks, good visibility and easy diving conditions, visibility averages 100Ft of water air and water is 84F. In the dives you can feel how the thermoclines go by and how the fish like that water in both dives.

The hammerheads and Galapagos are going in circles in the cleaning station and letting the barber fish come and feast in their parasites. Loads of other fish, the huge school of horse eyed jacks in dirty rock is overwhelming and at time confuse you if you get in the middle as you lose orientation. Today we did not have any current. Flat ocean cloudy skies, light breeze
