Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-10-04

Anchor at San Pedro Mártir island wind: 10-12 kts N , Sea: 3-4 ft NW.

Yesterday the last dive in Coronado was really good, the sea lions were very active in the evening, very very playful. We encountered with some blue spotted jawfish, lobster, blue snappe as well. The conditions were good, visibility around: 60 ft, light current heading SE, and the water temp 30 C°.

Then we moved directly to San Pedro Martir. We arrived today at 0740,1st dive was good, we dove “El Arroyo”, a lot of sea lions playing around, sardines, a group of leopard grouper ,scorpion fish and a big green turtle. Water temp:27 C°, and the current was moderate sometimes strong heading N.

We performed the 2nd one in “El Corralito” which is perfect because of the shelter by the conditions. We encountered with some nudibranch(doris), argus moray, panamic green moray, and the big turtle was there again. We are going to perform 2 dives more and tomorrow we are going to be in Bahia De Los Angeles,
