Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-10-08

Good afternoon, everyone, NBA drifting near Las Animas, engines are shut down,

We have a windy and rainy day, wind is blowing from ESE 10-15 kts and sometimes gusting 18 kts.

The first 2 dives of the day have been good. First dive was done inside the little bay of the islet next to the sea lions colony, guests saw the sea lions playing and they enjoyed the show. Also, they saw moray eels and many fish. Water temperature was 30 Celsius degrees and viz was around 10 meters.

Dive number 2 was done in El Morro Norte. During this dive our divers saw turtles, trumpet fish. Pascal group was very lucky and had the chance to see a few hammerheads, viz between surface and 20 meters depth was around 10 meters but after 20 meters depth viz improved a lot. possible 25 meters.

We are planning no more dives here, have dinner on the hook and after that heave up anchor and head to Loreto Area where we will dive tomorrow.
