Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-10-10

NUS anchored at 24°35.2N-110°24.2W. Los Islotes, Espiritu Santo Island, the sky is partly cloudy, air temperature 90°F.

Two dives this morning many playful sea lions, sea bases, snappers, king & Cortez angels, jacks, eels, and on the surface, many mahi mahi attacking the needle fishes. Vis 60ft, water temp 86°F, current from North to South. Customers were happy with the interaction with the sea lions.

The plan for tomorrow is to go diving at Las Animas Island and find the hammerhead sharks and hope that the plane finds something good near us.
