Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-10-12

NUS anchored at 24°26.1N-109°57.5W, in 65ft of depth on La Reyna Isla Cerralvo in the Lapaz area, clear sky, wind of 15, and gusts of 20 knots, waves of 2/3 ft and occasionally 4ft SW, air temperature 86°F.

Two dives this morning in La Reyna with a visibility of 40ft and no current, water temperature of 87°F. Lots of life around this rock like school of Mexican machete, horse mackerel, snapper, sea bass, Tarpon, sardines, nudibranchs, and moray eels. The guests enjoyed the diving despite it being a bit challenging to get on and off the skiff but everything is fine.

Planning two more dives in the afternoon. We are alone in La Reyna, private just for us.
